I started this piece a few years ago, it was for a contest that I never ended up entering. I loved my idea, but I lacked the confidence to follow through with finishing it and entering it into the contest. If I could go back and urge myself to finish it, I would. 

While I was making this drawing, I imagined the character to be using these skulls for the first time in a while, remembering how powerful she is. Unfortunately, I think it's really easy for us all to forget how capable we are. There's so much potential for us to fall into, so try not to get distracted and don't let too much doubt overshadow your vision! 

Try not to lose yourself, but if you do, there's always time to try and find your way back to who you know you are.
